The Valley Sangha has transitioned to online-only practice and is no longer meeting at St. Mark's in Los Olivos. They continue their practice with Jikoji Zen Center via Zoom with the following schedule:

  • Morning Zazen: Daily at 7:00am for 40 minutes of zazen, followed by the robe chant and service (newcomers welcome to log in at 6:45am)

  • Thursday Evening: Sits at 7:00pm for 30 minutes

SBZC @ SYV was the recipient of a large bell, generously donated by Gerow Reese and our friends at Jikoji Zen Center and kindly delivered by Michael Shoho Newhall. We are so grateful for this musical gift, and very thankful also to SBZC for letting us borrow their temple bell temporarily.
